Please do not use RoofClaim!I have 3 bad experiences with this company1. They switched the color of the shingles on me at the last minute. **(I chose the color gray, they called me and said that this wasn't availablle at the time and had no idea when it would be available. I called several roofing supply warehouses and they informed me that shingle was available, but I choose to believe RoofClaim. It was disheartening to see my neighbor get the gray shingle from this company a few weeks later.)2. Roof leaked water in the bathroom only when it rained. They came out and looked at it when I wasn't home and said it was a plumbing issue and not a roof issue. This only happended during heavy rain and magically stopped after their visit. **(Not sure if a boot wasn't sealed correctly, but I find it very strange that the leaked stopped after the visit)3. My dryer vent is clogged because they installed the improper cap. I hired someone to clean the vent and he noticed that the improper vent was installed on the roof. They placed an air vent cap for a dryer vent. I notified RoofClaim of this issue and did not hear back from them. I called a week later and they informed me that since I was out of the 2 year warranty that they would not come out. I would need to provide documentation that the air vent cap that they installed on the dryer vent is not up to building code. **(I never refused to provide documentation, I never had anything but the word of the technican. I am waiting from the local building code enforcement office to come and verify if the vent cap violates Section M1502.3 of the IRC (2021 edition): Dryer vents must terminate with an exterior exhaust hood with a backdraft damper. The termination must not include a screen (which this air vent caps has) since it can trap lint.)
